We're recruiting Field Surveyor Trainees on behalf of one of the UK's leading energy consultancy businesses.

Whether you've worked as a delivery driver, installer, field engineer, labourer or in another hands-on, customer-facing role, this could be the perfect opportunity to build a new career.

No surveying experience? No problem. Full training, industry-recognised qualifications and ongoing support are provided from day one.

Every day is different.

Rather than being based in the same location every day, you'll travel to visit a variety of properties, work independently and develop specialist skills in a growing industry where qualified surveyors are in demand.

What You'll Be Doing Assess the construction and energy characteristics of buildings using specialist handheld technology.

Survey approximately 20 properties each week.

Record and submit accurate survey data.

Identify energy-saving opportunities from the information collected.

Work closely with experienced colleagues throughout your training.

Carry out weekly vehicle checks and report maintenance requirements.

Provide a professional service to customers and clients.

Full Training Provided City & Guilds qualification during an initial one-week training course.

Supported completion of your evidence portfolio.

Two weeks of practical field training alongside an experienced Senior Field Surveyor (hotel and meal expenses covered).

Ongoing support and development.

What We're Looking For Full manual driving licence.

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Strong organisation and attention to detail.

Professional communication skills.

Analytical and practical problem-solving skills.

Reliable, flexible attitude with a desire to build a long-term career.

Experience in delivery driving, field service, installations, labouring, utilities, maintenance or other lone-working roles is advantageous.
