We are looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor on behalf of our client in Elland. This role will suit someone with strong leadership skills and a background in operations, manufacturing or logistics, who thrives on ensuring safety, quality and performance standards are met.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse and laboratory operations including goods-in, sample processing, packing, dispatch and stock management.
- Supervise and motivate operational teams, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency and quality.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations (including COSHH, COMAH and PPE).
- Monitor workflows to ensure timely completion of client orders.
- Act as the link between operational teams and senior management, providing regular progress updates.
- Implement process improvements and drive continuous development across the site.
ABOUT YOU...
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good IT literacy with the ability to manage workflow and reporting systems.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with stock and order management systems.
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations (COSHH, COMAH).
- Background in chemical, manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
