Kew Law LLP is a growing, modern law firm with a strong reputation for high-quality residential conveyancing and excellent client service. We are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join our Hadleigh, Benfleet office and support our busy conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with conveyancing experience who is organised, detail‑focused, and keen to develop their career within a forward‑thinking firm.
The Role
You will work closely with fee earners to support residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion, ensuring matters progress efficiently and clients receive a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening new files and managing onboarding procedures
- Assisting with AML and ID verification checks
- Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
- Dealing with routine correspondence and enquiries
- Updating case management systems and client portals
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- General administrative support to the conveyancing team
About You
- Has previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support role (essential)
- Has a good understanding of the conveyancing process
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is confident using case management systems and digital workflows
- Takes a proactive, team‑focused approach to work
