Working across the region, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our hotels remain safe, functional and maintained to the high standards our guests expect. This is a varied and mobile role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work across multiple hotel environments and projects. This role reports to the Regional General Manager and will involve regular travel across the region, including frequent overnight stays where required.
About the Role
You’ll support hotels with planned and reactive maintenance tasks, helping to maintain excellent property standards while minimising disruption to guests and hotel operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas and hotel facilities across a regional portfolio.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and testing across hotel equipment and facilities.
- Supporting a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating and basic electrical work.
- Identifying maintenance risks early and escalating concerns appropriately to prevent future disruption or cost.
- Working collaboratively with on-site hotel teams to support operational priorities and guest satisfaction.
About You
You’re practical, adaptable and take pride in completing work to a high standard. Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team, you enjoy problem-solving and supporting hotels to deliver a great guest experience. We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong painting and decorating skills, with a multi-skilled maintenance background.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and general maintenance equipment.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to maintenance issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards.
- The ability to work flexibly across a region, including occasional stays away from home.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
Experience working across multiple sites or within a travelling role is desirable but not essential.
