The role of Line Chef involves producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in L24 8QD.

Line Chef duties include:

  • Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Facilitating special requests from guests if received.
  • Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
  • Ensuring you are working towards all kitchen SOPs at all times.
  • Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.

An ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Demonstrable cooking experience including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook is required. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety are essential.
