We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Export / Import Operations Consultant (All-Rounder) to join our dynamic team based at our Crawley office. If you are an experienced freight forwarding professional looking to develop your career within a supportive, specialist logistics environment β we want to hear from you.
Our client is a well-established freight forwarder with a focus on niche markets including Restricted Goods and Dangerous Goods. Experience handling these commodities is essential for this role, but we will provide comprehensive training and certification for the right candidate to ensure you are fully equipped to manage and process these complex shipments.
Our client would consider 2 days a week remote working for someone travelling from far away, but rest of days would be office based.
Key Duties
- Handling incoming calls and customer enquiries
- Preparing accurate job quotations
- Processing operational Export and Import shipments
- Liaising with carriers, contractors, and internal teams
- Costing jobs and invoicing
- Occasionally assisting with warehouse duties if required
- Managing your own desk efficiently and maintaining accurate records
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in Export, Import, Air, Road & Ocean and Customs operations is essential
