We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Quality Compliance Executive to join our team, with a passion for digital solutions. Predominately based at the London Heathrow office, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the business’ drive towards enhanced quality and compliance controls. Ideally you will be from a Freight Forwarding Background, office based, although possibly some hybrid working following successful probation period. Some UK travel and possible European travel in the future.
Salary: £30-35k (25 days holiday, increasing after 5 years)
Duties Include:
- Supporting the Head of Administration, conduct and manage quality and compliance processes throughout the business to ensure consistency and high standards are maintained.
- Complete internal quality audits of systems and processes for all UK offices, both remotely and in-person.
- Assist in third-party audits of our quality management systems periodically by accrediting bodies.
- Management and follow-up of QMS and incident reporting.
- Complete thorough root cause analysis and introduce effective preventative solutions where necessary.
- Take a proactive approach to risk management, identifying areas of improvement.
- Engage regularly with Regional and Department managers to ensure quality and compliance goals are met.
- Create and distribute staff surveys to monitor awareness of company practices.
- Conduct training presentations/programmes, both internally and customer-facing.
- Analyse data and produce clear reporting to superiors.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records, in line with requirements for ISO and other company accreditations.
- Fully understand the needs and drivers of the business and how best to integrate these into daily tasks.
- Adopt digital solutions to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
- Work closely and build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Be an inspirational candidate and work responsibly as part of a larger team.
Essential Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years working in a quality/compliance capacity.
- A confident user of digital platforms such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc), DocuSign and online portals.
- Previous experience of data analytics and reporting.
- Strong data entry and document management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- An articulate, creative thinker with the ability to share ideas succinctly.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working to deadlines.
- Polished, personable and energetic personality.
- Be able to think both proactively and reactively, taking appropriate actions in any given circumstance.
- A strong multi-tasker who is able to prioritise effectively.
- Self-motivated with good time management.
- Quality Management Systems trained, aligned with ISO9001 or equivalent certification.
- HMRC Customs and Compliance experience.
- Knowledge and experience in an Aviation Security environment would be advantageous.
