Our client is looking for a dynamic Airfreight Export Supervisor to join their team at London Heathrow. The successful candidate will oversee air freight operations, supporting the manager with leading a team to ensure compliant, timely and profitable shipment processing, arranging export shipments and managing customs brokerage for high value goods in line with client requirements. This is a full time, in office role - Mon to Fri - Salary £47k.

Duties Include:

  • Plan and manage air freight shipments from start to finish, including customs clearance in both the UK and at the destination, in line with customer requirements.
  • Issue MAWB, HAWB, manifest, and any other required shipping documents.
  • Prepare and submit customs documentation, including export declarations, export licenses, CITES, and ATA Carnets, and apply for Carnets and CITES permits as required.
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Support other members of the export team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Update shipping files and internal systems, while consistently keeping customers informed of their shipment status.
  • Liaise with airlines in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports.
  • Ensure all quality controls are met.
