Due to a change in work loads, our client is urgently looking for an Air Freight Operator to work in their office located near Cardiff, Wales. This role is a 12-month Full Time Contract.
Main duties will include:
- Execution of courier files
- Labelling cargo
- Exports and imports
Experience would be a great advantage; however, training will be given. Must be IT literate and willing to learn.
Hours are from 1200 to 2000, Monday to Friday. There may be times when overtime will be needed. Salary will be a maximum of £30K, and shift pay will be provided. There is also a need to be added to a weekend rota once trained.
At present, this is a FTC of 12 months but could have the potential to become permanent should workloads continue or increase. The position involves working on-site at a customer's premises but in the agent's office.
The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, being a team player, and the capability to work alone. You will need a 5-year work history, a DBS check, and training will be provided for aviation security.
