Our client has a vacancy for a 4 on 4 off nights role 1900-0700. The role is located around Heathrow and is paying up to £47k. We are looking for experienced Operations professionals who are fully conversant with managing end-to-end import and export movements, with a particular emphasis on exports, across both air and road freight.
Key requirements include:
- Experienced with completing all functions of end-to-end AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments and the associated service requirements.
- Strong operational experience (exports being the main focus).
- Customs entry experience would be advantageous, although this can be taught to candidates with solid industry knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and professionally to customer emails and operational requirements.
- Minimum 5–7 years of industry experience with significant exposure to aerospace export operations (AOG, engines, aircraft parts, hazardous goods).
- Educated to a good standard of GCSEs with Maths & English level 5/C preferred.
- A good standard of general computer skills – knowledge in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel would be advantageous.
- Must be able to perform in a fast pace / high volume work environment.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
- CargoWise software experience a plus.
Duties Include:

- Required to work hours other than the set shift hours to facilitate the completion of required work or resolve critical issues.
- Must be available for occasional on-call duty.
