We are seeking a capable, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, maintain accuracy across all processes, and act as the key communication link between the warehouse and office teams. The successful candidate will manage a small team of 2β3 staff members and provide clear structure, accountability and day-to-day leadership.
Duties Include:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, warehouse releases, and inventory control.
- Communicate effectively between the warehouse and office teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Lead, support, and develop a small team, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Provide guidance on correct packing methods for high value goods.
- Liaise with road team operatives when items return to the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, correct documentation, and appropriate packing/labelling standards are followed.
- Conduct periodic stock checks of stored items.
- Manage storage client invoices through Xero (experience preferred but not essential).
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation, safety, and operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or senior warehouse supervision.
- Strong understanding of high value goods.
- Confident and assertive leadership style β able to set boundaries, maintain discipline, and lead a team effectively. Must be comfortable making operational decisions while also being willing to seek guidance from management when appropriate.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to correspond professionally via email and provide clear, concise information.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with changing operational demands.
