We are looking for an experienced, driven and commercially minded Sales & Compliance Manager to join our growing same-day and special delivery business.
This is a key role combining business development, customer relationship management and operational compliance.
You will be responsible for growing our customer base and revenue while ensuring the business continues to operate safely, professionally and in line with relevant UK transport, driver and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be confident winning new business, developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities within sectors where time-critical delivery is essential.
At the same time, you will take ownership of our compliance processes, ensuring our drivers, vehicles, documentation and operational procedures meet the required standards.
- Location Heathrow Salary £40k + 1% commission
- £45k + 2% Commission

Duties Include
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
- Generate leads through telephone, email, networking, referrals and targeted prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements while protecting company margins.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer spend.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports on activity and performance.
- Work closely with operations to ensure customer requirements can be delivered efficiently.
- Meet agreed sales, revenue and customer retention targets.
- Compliance & Operational Standards
- Take ownership of the company's day-to-day compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate driver and Office staff compliance records.
- Ensure appropriate driver documentation, licences, checks and training are maintained.
- Monitor vehicle/driver documentation (Insurance, Driving licence checks)
- Conduct regular compliance audit.
- Ensure company procedures are followed across the operation.
- Maintain appropriate records and evidence for audits.
- Work with management to implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Keep up to date with relevant UK transport, road safety, employment and regulatory requirements
