Are you a technically minded Sales Engineer with a passion for power generation and precision in proposals? Kevin Edward Executive Search has partnered with a leading manufacturer of industrial generating sets, ranging from 5 kVA to 3000 kVA – seeking a Sales Engineer (Tenders) to join their growing team.

The Role

This is an internal sales position focused on tenders, quotations, and technical support. You’ll play a vital role in helping customers and the external sales team find the right power solution for every project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations for generating sets and related equipment
  • Reviewing tender documents and customer specifications
  • Liaising with engineering, production, and procurement teams to develop cost-effective solutions
  • Providing technical support to the external sales team and clients
  • Ensuring all proposals meet company standards for accuracy, compliance, and presentation

About You

  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience within power generation, gensets, switchgear, or industrial equipment
  • Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
