A market-leading international electronics manufacturer is looking to recruit a commercially driven Regional Business Manager to support continued growth across the UK market. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with experience within electronics, engineering or OEM environments to join a highly respected business known for quality, innovation and long-term customer partnerships.
The Role
Working closely with the District Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of your territory, developing relationships with both existing and prospective customers across a broad range of industries. This is a consultative, design-led sales role where you will work closely with engineering, procurement and design teams, supporting projects from initial concept through to full production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Growing sales and profitability across your territory
- Managing and developing relationships across multiple customer accounts
- Driving project activity through design, specification and production stages
- Working closely with customers both remotely and face-to-face
- Identifying and targeting high-potential OEM opportunities
- Conducting regular territory reviews and strategic account planning
- Supporting customers with a high level of technical and commercial account management
- Managing long-term project sales cycles ranging from 6 months to 2 years
- Taking full ownership of territory growth and performance
The Candidate
- Degree qualified ideally within Electronics, Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years’ successful experience within technical sales, electronics, OEM or engineering environments
- Experience within a design-led sales environment is highly desirable
- Comfortable engaging with engineering, procurement and technical decision makers
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills
- Highly driven, energetic and motivated to succeed
- Strong analytical mindset with a natural curiosity and desire to learn
- Able to manage multiple projects and long-term sales cycles effectively
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willing to travel nationally with occasional international travel
