My client is a leading UK Equipment Hire business and they are seeking an experienced Sector Manager – Utilities to drive growth and strengthen their position across the UK utilities sector. This strategic role will focus on developing relationships with major contractors across water, gas, electricity and telecommunications, while identifying opportunities within large-scale infrastructure frameworks and projects.
You'll lead the development of a sector-specific go-to-market strategy, working closely with internal teams to ensure their solutions meet client requirements around cost, compliance and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with major utilities contractors and infrastructure providers
- Identify and secure framework and major contract opportunities
- Track major projects and investment programmes including AMP8 (2025–2030)
- Provide market intelligence and represent the business at key industry events
- Experience within the UK utilities sector (minimum 3 years)
- Experience of the UK Equipment Rental sector.
- Proven background in business development, sales or account management
- Strong understanding of procurement frameworks and industry regulations
- Confident engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders
