We’re looking for a Generator Controls Systems Engineer who knows this space inside out. This isn’t a step-up role; you need to already be operating at this level with solid generator experience.
If you’ve worked on control systems, commissioning, and fault finding across generator projects, this is a chance to get into a business where your expertise is actually valued.
The Role
- Take ownership of generator control systems from concept through to commissioning.
- Design and oversee build of generator control panels.
- Configure and troubleshoot ComAp controllers (InteliGen / InteliSys).
- Carry out detailed site surveys on existing generator installations.
- Lead FAT / SAT testing and on-site commissioning.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control faults.
- Implement synchronisation, load sharing, and protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with G99 / G59 regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in generator control systems (non-negotiable).
- Strong knowledge of ComAp systems.
- Ability to read and interpret LV & HV schematics.
- Experience with synchronisation and load sharing systems.
- Confident carrying out commissioning and fault finding on live sites.
- Strong understanding of grid compliance / protection schemes.
