My client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in commercial vehicle body solutions. They are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Director to oversee all manufacturing and operational activities across the business.

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director, with responsibility for production, fabrication, assembly and operational performance. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, improve productivity, oversee budgets and ensure high standards of quality, delivery and health & safety are maintained throughout the business.

The role requires a hands-on operational leader who can manage day-to-day activities while also helping shape long-term business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

CANDIDATE – Operations Director:

  • Proven experience within a senior operational leadership role in manufacturing, engineering, automotive or commercial vehicle environments.
  • Strong understanding of production, fabrication and assembly operations.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, costs and performance KPIs.
  • A strong people leader who can develop teams and create a high-performance culture.
  • A hands-on and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills.
