A leading UK provider of materials handling solutions is looking for a high-performing National BDM to drive growth across major accounts. This is a strategic, field-based role focused on expanding market share for Hangcha and Cat forklift and materials handling equipment.

The Role

  • You'll take ownership of national-level business development, targeting major UK customers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, construction and industrial sectors.
  • This isn't a role for order-takers, you'll be expected to open doors, build influence, and win sizeable multi-site contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and win national accounts across the UK
  • Promote a full range of Hangcha and Cat trucks and equipment
  • Build long-term relationships with procurement teams, operational leaders and site decision-makers
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans that drive consistent revenue growth
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Track market trends and competitor activity, using insight to shape your approach

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in materials handling sales forklifts, MHE or related industrial kit is essential
  • Strong track record of winning and growing major accounts
  • Confident dealing with multi-site customers and complex buying cycles
  • Commercially switched-on, self-driven and able to operate autonomously
  • Comfortable travelling nationally as required
