Job Description

HSEQ Director

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Bonus, Private Healthcare and Company Car.

Location: North East

We’re seeking a proven HSEQ leader to join a major construction business in the North East.

This is a strategic role, responsible for driving Health, Safety, Environment and Quality performance across high-profile projects. You’ll lead a team, shape company-wide safety culture, and ensure compliance with ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001) and industry best practice.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant senior HSEQ leadership experience in construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of UK legislation, CDM Regulations, and management systems.
  • A track record of delivering cultural change and continuous improvement.
  • Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or equivalent.
