A well-established and growing scaffolding contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to support continued growth across London and the South East. This is a key commercial role, working closely with operations and senior leadership to secure and deliver profitable work across a wide range of projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding projects across construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors. This will involve reviewing tender documentation, conducting site visits, pricing works, and ensuring all submissions are commercially sound and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of scaffolding projects
- Interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Carry out site surveys to assess project requirements and constraints
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to build competitive tenders
- Produce take-offs and pricing schedules with a strong focus on margins and risk
- Support contract handovers to operations, ensuring clarity on scope and commercial terms
- Contribute to value engineering and alternative solutions where appropriate
Requirements
- Proven experience within the scaffolding sector is essential
- Background in estimating, quantity surveying or contracts management
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to price work accurately and profitably
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Full UK driving licence
