We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor / Parts Operative to join a busy parts operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with industry or related industry knowledge to play a key role in supporting internal teams, depot networks, dealers, and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely parts support, ensuring efficient processing of parts enquiries, identification, ordering, stock control, and dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities- Pick, pack and dispatch parts to dealers, customers, and other depot locations using the relevant dispatch system.
- Identify parts using parts catalogues and electronic parts catalogues (EPCs).
- Process and issue parts to service engineers and other authorised personnel.
- Receive and check incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is accurately booked in and all relevant goods received documentation is completed.
- Manage parts returns from suppliers and service engineers.
- Carry out daily perpetual stock checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Create and maintain stock bin locations for new and existing inventory.
- Monitor parts allocated to job sheets and ensure stock levels are replenished as required.
- Rotate stock locations to support efficient picking processes.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the parts department.
- Provide efficient and accurate support for parts interpretation, pricing and ordering enquiries.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the scope of your skills, knowledge and experience.
