My client is a UK manufacturer of a wide range of plastic products across many categories such as Home, Garden and Storage. Specialising in plastic products, the business is a leading supplier of watering cans, storage boxes, and baby baths to large retailers across the UK and internationally. All product development is carried out in-house, and bespoke, own label products as well as branded products are produced for their customers in the UK.

Due to a re-structure, my client would like to recruit a National Account Manager to their team. This key role will involve selling a range of own label and branded homewares/garden products via a very diverse customer base across the grocery, DIY, homewares, and garden sectors. You will be expected to grow the turnover of the existing business accounts along with prospecting for new business.

The ideal candidate will already be a proven National Account Manager with strong experience of consumer goods products. The ideal candidate will be tough, hungry, down to earth, and straight talking. In return, the business can offer a competitive salary and a very good bonus scheme which is paid quarterly. The role is home-based with two days a week in the office in the Midlands.

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent experience in selling homewares or garden products or similar into national retailers.
  • Excellent account management skills.
  • Proven track record in developing sales.
