This is a Technical role, not just sat behind a desk drawing schematics. We’re looking for someone who can design, build, and then go out and make it work on site. You’ll need to come from the generator / power generation world. If you don’t have that, this won’t land.

The Role

  • End-to-end responsibility for control systems across complex power projects:
  • Design full electrical schematics, wiring diagrams & GA layouts (AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN)
  • Program and configure ComAp (InteliGen / InteliSys) and Deep Sea (DSE 7000 / 8000) controllers
  • Deliver load sharing, synchronisation and export control systems
  • Ensure full compliance with G99 / G100 and DNO requirements
  • Carry out technical site surveys and define integration points
  • Support and guide panel build teams to ensure designs are delivered correctly
  • Get involved in commissioning when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in power generation / standby power / energy systems (essential)
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of ComAp and DSE control platforms
  • Experience with PLC logic & comms protocols (Modbus, CANbus, SNMP)
  • Ability to design 3-phase systems and LV control circuits
  • Solid understanding of G99 / G100 and grid compliance
  • Comfortable working both in the office and on-site

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

The Opportunity

  • Work on high-spec, technically complex power projects
  • Be part of a business pushing into advanced energy and grid solutions
  • Real ownership - design it, see it built, see it working
