  • Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment and other company equipment in good working order.
  • Keep customers informed regarding equipment condition, repairs undertaken and any further work required.
  • Work closely with the wider service team, parts department and other engineers to deliver an efficient service.
  • Follow all relevant health & safety requirements and safe working practices while on customer sites.
  • Represent the business professionally and build positive working relationships with customers.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the position.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician or similar mechanical/electrical engineer.

You should have:

  • The ability to diagnose faults methodically and complete repairs effectively.
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own workload in the field.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A practical, organised and professional approach.
  • Good attention to detail when completing service documentation.
  • A strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices.
  • A full UK driving licence.
