Role Overview
Support sales by preparing high-quality technical tenders, quotations, and proposals for renewable energy projects. Ensure customer requirements are met cost‑effectively while helping convert leads into profitable orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret technical specifications and tender documents
- Prepare cost estimates, pricing models, and bid submissions
- Liaise with internal teams (service, production, engineering)
- Conduct site visits to support accurate quotations
- Manage tender timelines, clarifications, and client communications
- Monitor project progress and support handovers to delivery teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes
Requirements
- Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 2-3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of power generation systems (engines, batteries, energy systems)
- Strong commercial awareness and cost modelling skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence
