My client is a specialist manufacturing business operating within the commercial vehicle sector. They are looking to recruit a technically strong engineering professional to oversee vehicle compliance, product development and homologation activities across the business.

The role will involve working closely with OEMs, suppliers, customers and internal departments to ensure all vehicle builds meet current legislation, technical standards and customer requirements. You will also support bespoke design projects, product innovation and provide technical support to both sales and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied technical role within a bespoke manufacturing environment.

CANDIDATE – Head of Engineering & Homologation:

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, commercial vehicles or specialist engineering sectors.
  • Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks or DraftSight.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle legislation, compliance and homologation processes.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Commercially aware with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
