We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven leader to take full responsibility for a busy depot in Portsmouth. Managing a depot with a £7 million profit and loss, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, improving operational performance and ensuring the depot consistently exceeds its commercial objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead every aspect of the depot, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently and profitably. Key responsibilities include:
- Full accountability for the depot's £7m profit and loss.
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of 22 across operations, engineering, transport, administration and sales.
- Driving revenue growth while maintaining tight control of costs and profitability.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Managing fleet utilisation, availability and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
