The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to run a depot, get the best out of a team, and deliver excellent customer service. The role The Depot Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and profitably. They will work closely with the hire desk, drivers, workshop, and senior management team to deliver outstanding service to customers. Key responsibilities include: * Monitoring depot performance through the P&L while maintaining service and quality standards. * Leading, managing, and motivating a multi-disciplinary team. * Driving efficiency across hire desk, drivers, and yard/warehouse. * Overseeing stock, fleet, and workshop activity to maximise availability. * Upholding a safe, compliant, and lean working environment. * Supporting business development by working with sales colleagues to identify new opportunities and strengthen customer relationships. * Collaborating with other depot managers and the wider leadership team.
