We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK fire and security sector. This field-based role focuses on B2B sales, developing new client relationships, and expanding existing accounts in commercial and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new B2B opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers including facilities managers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Ensure compliance with UK fire and security standards.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience in the UK fire and security industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
  • Track record in new business development and account growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience with FM companies, consultants, or main contractors.
  • Knowledge of BS 5839, BS 5266, NSI, SSAIB, BAFE standards.
  • Experience selling service and maintenance contracts.
