An established, industry-leading plant hire business is looking for a commercially sharp Account Manager to take ownership of a £4m+ portfolio across groundworks, civils, and housebuilding clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and growing a £4m revenue portfolio
- Managing key accounts while still hunting (70/30 split)
- Building long-term relationships with contractors and developers
- Driving upsell and cross-sell across plant, tool, and equipment hire
- Converting warm leads and winning new business in your patch
- Working closely with ops and depot teams to deliver on service
- Taking full responsibility for margin, retention and growth
