Ketton Pre-school has an exciting opportunity at our setting for a dynamic individual to join our friendly and professional staff team. Our entire team is warm and friendly and we all strive to provide the very best experience for our Pre-school children. Ideally, you, too, would have a friendly persona with an outgoing personality. You will also need to be hardworking and passionate about children's learning, play and development.
This vacancy is for a role of Pre-school assistant working alongside our current staff team, sharing responsibilities such as key children, parent communication, planning and delivering our Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, whilst maintaining highest standards in our teaching and learning environments. The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge of the EYFS and must be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
Key attributes and duties:- Be passionate about Early Years education and care.
- To be able to use own initiative and have a can-do attitude, but also be able to work well within a team.
- Excellent knowledge, understanding and recent experience of the EYFS Framework and regulatory requirements.
- Be able to observe, plan and implement children's learning and development.
- Be able to be creative in your teaching, arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise and educational games.
- We operate a keyworker system which will require you to liaise with parents/carers about their child's development.
- Be able to follow, implement and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, secure and caring environment for our children.
