The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Key accountabilities include:
- Produce cropping programmes for crops under your control.
- Secure the growers and land required to produce the required volumes of raw material for our main washing facility.
- Calculate and obtain the seed requirement for the relevant crops.
- Monitor crops under your control and advise growers on all aspects of crop production both technically and agronomically using GLGM platform.
- Provide key nutritional advice on crop requirements.
- Take responsibility for product development, variety and agronomy trials.
- Produce growing notes and gross margins on an annual basis.
- Communicate with growers on crop quality, yields and financial returns including the creation and dissemination of league tables where appropriate.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest husbandry techniques, new varieties and current research work and communicate these to growers to maintain a continuous improvement programme.
