Kettering Science Academy is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has expertise working with students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work one‑to‑one, in small groups and support other students within the school, promoting inclusion and ensuring compliance with child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection policies.

Responsibilities

  • Work one‑to‑one and in small groups with students.
  • Support the delivery of the curriculum.
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance for all students.
  • Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to progress from Level 2 to Level 3.
  • Experience working with students who have a range of special educational needs.
  • Well‑motivated, compassionate, and capable of working with a diverse student body.
