We are looking to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant with ambition and confidence who wants to develop their skills in a forward-thinking and progressive environment. The role will be 30 hours per week and 2.5 hours per week as a midday supervisor.

The role involves supporting members of the teaching staff in ensuring that pupils receive the highest possible standards of care and education, becoming safe, secure and successful. Duties include:

  • Ensuring that pupils are safe
  • Teaching the planned curriculum
  • Effectively using resources
  • Producing and maintaining a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment
  • Upholding high professional standards
  • Encouraging pupils to work and play independently

Please note that the salary quoted is the Full Time Equivalent; this post is paid pro-rata at 32.5 hours per week for 38 weeks per year for a fixed term of 1 year to 31st August 2027.
