We are looking to appoint a committed SEN support Assistant. You should have ambition, confidence, and a desire to develop your skills within a school environment. The role involves working with pupils in our dedicated SEN space who require behavioural, educational, or emotional support, and supervising the children at lunchtime (30 mins per day).

Main purpose of role- Assist and support pupils with special educational, social, emotional, and behaviour difficulties.
- Work under the instruction or guidance of senior/teaching staff to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching, helping to raise standards of achievement for all pupils.
- Support pupils either in or out of the classroom as directed by the class teacher, SENCo, or senior leadership to meet the specific needs of children or groups of children.
The position is 30 hours per week as a SEN Teaching Assistant and 2.5 hours per week as a lunchtime supervisor for 38 weeks per year on a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027. Salary stated is full-time equivalent and will be paid pro-rata.
