Overview
A great opportunity has opened up within Cardiac investigations. We are looking for a new ECG Technician. The preferred candidate would have experience in performing ECGs and knowledge of how the department works; this is desirable but not essential as full training will be given (training may be delivered in KGH).
Our Community Diagnostic Centre will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality diagnostic services to the local community. Responsibilities
- Perform Electrocardiograms (ECGs).
- Fit Ambulatory Holter monitors and Blood pressure monitors.
- Assist with other clinical duties as required.
- Work autonomously and learn to recognise abnormal findings and escalate appropriately.
- Update and maintain local databases; input patient information into equipment; download results ready for analysis.
- Work closely with Cardiac Physiologists, assisting them in their clinical duties.
- Based in the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) building in Corby.
Work Schedule
Working days are Wednesday and Saturday, 9am – 5pm.

This is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation within Cardiology with full training given, with potential for further opportunities within the department. Cardiac Investigations is a Physiologist-led service; opportunities may evolve to meet the needs of developing services.
