Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013. The academy continues to go from strength to strength, with happy and motivated staff, a supportive culture and plenty of opportunities for personal growth with our excellent staff CPD offer.

The role
We are looking for a Learning Supervisor (Cover Supervisor) to join our academy. You will be expected to present pre-prepared work to groups of students. This will normally happen in the absence of the class teacher. The post will also include other supervisory duties and administrative tasks.
About You
You will be extremely organised, focused and have a calm and friendly approach to all stakeholders. You will have great patience and empathy along with excellent interpersonal skills, as this role involves dealing with students, staff and colleagues within United Learning. You will enjoy working with young people and have experience of working with them and be independent but be able to judge when to ask for help and support.
