As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an Information Security Systems Engineer to take ownership of our cyber security, infrastructure and information security systems.

The Role

Ke Tech Systems is looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing technology team.

Working across the business, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our IT infrastructure whilst ensuring our systems remain secure and compliant with industry standards.

This is a varied, hands‑on role covering infrastructure, networking, Microsoft technologies, cyber security and cloud services.

You'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our business and ensuring our systems remain secure.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies, solving technical challenges and making a genuine impact.

You'll be trusted to identify improvements, influence technical decisions and help shape the future of our IT infrastructure and cyber security strategy.

Working as part of a friendly and collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, continually develop your technical skills and contribute to a business that is trusted by the UK's rail industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, develop and support the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • Support and administer Azure cloud services.
  • Configure and maintain networking, firewalls and Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
  • Monitor, investigate and respond to cyber security incidents and threats.
  • Manage Windows Defender and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) tools.
  • Support compliance with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and other security standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure resilience, performance and security.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver technology improvements and support business growth.
