Key Objectives
- Introduce new customers to the business
- Account manage the customers you onboard with a service focus
- Carry out a tailored sale to ensure the proposed solutions would best-fit a customer's needs
Key Responsibilities includes:
- Generating your own meetings through business development activity and networking
- Proactively working with Telecoms account managers to explore cross-selling opportunities for IT products/services
- Liaising with the technical team to ensure proposals are technically sound
- Managing your sales pipeline
- Acting as a point of contact through the deployment, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth project roll out and a positive customer on-boarding experience
- Working with internal departments to promote cross-selling across the product portfolio wherever possible (business mobile, telephony, connectivity)
- Managing accounts, introduced by keeping in regular contact and carrying out quarterly account reviews
- Keeping abreast of all product development, ensuring your product knowledge remains current
- Best practice use of the company CRM throughout
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a self-generating business development role with an MSP, selling IT support amongst other services/products. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working autonomously and is naturally driven by both achieving sales targets and delivering an excellent customer experience.
