About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated HLTA/TA2 to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team at Kestrel Mead, part of The Mead Educational Trust (TMET). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a culture of excellence, ambition, and inclusion. The successful candidate will have a commitment to securing the best outcomes for all learners and play an active role in shaping a safe and positive school environment. The role will include a minimum of 10 hours per week of whole class teaching- delivering and planning lessons across different subjects as part of our team of HLTAs. There will also be classroom based support as a TA2.

Kestrel Mead is a large, 4 form entry, split site school serving a diverse community in Hamilton, Leicester. Our children demonstrate our character behaviours of respect, curiosity, resilience and compassion to be the best they can be in everything they do. We have an experienced team of support staff who are integral in supporting our children to achieve excellence, have a strong sense of being and create equity.
