Kestrel Estates is a modern, independent estate agency based in Featherstone, working across Yorkshire. Our lettings team provides landlords with a fully managed service, from marketing and finding tenants through to tenancy management, compliance and maintenance. We pride ourselves on providing a professional, personable service and building strong relationships with our landlords and tenants.

The Role

  • Manage properties from initial marketing and viewings through to ongoing tenancy management, including:
    • Advertising and marketing properties
    • Conducting property viewings and dealing with applicants
    • Setting up and progressing new tenancies
    • Preparing inventories and carrying out inspections
    • Managing tenant and landlord enquiries
    • Responding to emails and telephone enquiries
    • Reporting, arranging and managing maintenance issues
    • Liaising with contractors and arranging access
    • Ensuring properties and tenancies remain compliant
    • Maintaining accurate property and tenancy records

About You

  • At least 1 year's experience within the lettings sector
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage their own portfolio and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive approach to resolving problems
  • Good IT and administration skills

Knowledge of the Renters' Rights Act 2025 and current private rented sector legislation is desirable, although training will be provided.
