We are delighted to offer a unique 4-6 month fixed term opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our enthusiastic, friendly and forward-thinking team in the Scottish Highlands. This is a fantastic chance to immerse yourself in a dedicated equine-only environment, delivering high-quality care while experiencing life in one of the most breathtaking parts of the UK.

Working across both ambulatory and clinic-based cases, you will enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload within a supportive and experienced team. This role offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical exposure, collaborate with skilled colleagues and visiting specialists, and develop your equine expertise in a well-equipped and progressive practice. For the right candidate, this secondment could also open the door to a permanent opportunity in the future.

You will be joining an established and supportive equine team committed to clinical excellence and continuous improvement. Our practice combines ambulatory services with excellent clinic facilities, allowing you to work up and manage a wide range of cases in‐house. We offer comprehensive inpatient facilities including stables, stocks, a large treatment area with knockdown and recovery facilities, as well as dedicated trot‐up and arena spaces. Our diagnostic and treatment equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy, shockwave therapy and motorised dental equipment. Regular clinic days with visiting specialists provide valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration and professional development.
