Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to become the Co-ordinator for EAST SCITT as a maternity cover. We would like to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. This important role will involve working with the central SCITT team, trainees and our partnership schools to support the day-to-day operation and administrative support of EAST SCITT. The post will be based at Kesgrave High School, and plays a key part in ensuring the co-ordination, recruitment, administration and pastoral support of our teacher training programmes to the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities
- Work with the central SCITT team, consisting of the SCITT Director, the Primary Programme Lead and the Secondary Programme Lead.
- Collaborate with trainees, SCITT tutors, school mentors, governance members and others involved in the delivery of our teacher training programmes.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support and coordination for EAST SCITT.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good general standard of education and experience in a client-facing administrative role, or transferable experience in a relatable role.
- Approachable, enthusiastic, resilient and organised with a strong commitment to education; able to work effectively in a team and liaise with a wide range of partners.
