We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operator to join their established manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with regular day shift hours, 33 days annual leave and genuine opportunities for training and career progression.

Working within a small, friendly team, you'll carry out a variety of production and manufacturing duties, making this a varied and hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Moving and handling materials and finished products around the factory
  • Picking materials ready for production
  • Measuring and marking materials accurately
  • Cutting materials using machinery and hand tools
  • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Assembling products to a high standard
  • Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Working to production schedules and quality standards
What We're Looking For
  • Essential
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good practical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use measuring equipment accurately
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Previous machine operating experience
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
  • Experience using hand and power tools
