We are looking to recruit a FLT driver to work within a manufacturing facility in Birtley. The role involves loading and unloading trailers with stock using Counter balance FLT. It will also involve manually lifting materials so applicants must be physically fit. You will also be required to work to daily targets. The role is temporary with a view to go permanent for the right person.
The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off which means working 2 x 12 hour days 6.00am-6.00pm, 2 x 12 hour nights 6.00pm-6.00am and then 4 shifts off.
Experience in a production or factory environment is desirable but not essential. If you have previously had FLT experience but your licence has expired please feel free to apply as there could be a possibility of an in-house refresher.
