Production Operative (Manufacturing) We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operative (Manufacturing) to join their established manufacturing team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with regular day shift hours, 33 days annual leave and genuine opportunities for training and career progression.
Working within a small, friendly team, you'll carry out a variety of production and manufacturing duties, making this a varied and hands-on position.
Hours of work would be Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Moving and handling materials and finished products around the factory
- Picking materials ready for production
- Measuring and marking materials accurately
- Cutting materials using machinery and hand tools
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assembling products to a high standard
- Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Working to production schedules and quality standards What We're Looking For Essential
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Good practical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to use measuring equipment accurately
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Previous machine operating experience
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
- Experience using hand and power tools
