Manufacturing Operative - Birtley Permanent | 34,069.37 - 36,306.45 | Rotating Shifts We are recruiting a Manufacturing Operative to join an established manufacturing business in Birtley.
This role suits someone who is detail-focused, process-driven and confident working within structured production standards.
It is not a basic assembly role - accuracy and consistency are essential.
Salary * 34,069.37 training rate * Up to 36,306.45 including shift allowance Shift Pattern Three shift rotation: * 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday * 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday * 10:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday to Thursday * Saturday required one in every three weeks when on the 6:00am 2:00pm shift The Role - Manufacturing Operative You will be responsible for: * Preparing materials accurately for production * Following detailed SOPs and ensuring correct product quantities * Operating production machinery safely and efficiently * Completing in-process quality checks * Working to daily output targets * Manually handling materials (role requires physical fitness) Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions are critical in this role.
