Maintenance Manager

Our client, based in Teesside, has an opening for a Maintenance Manager to cover 2 sites within Teesside. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday, 08.00am – 4.00pm. Duties and responsibilities: * Responsible for day-to-day oversight of maintenance staff, planning and executing all maintenance activities associated with the safe and efficient running of the sites * Responsible for preparing a rolling weekly and monthly lookahead for planned/unplanned works * Lead a team of maintenance technicians across multiple sites * Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all equipment and facilities * Responsible for scheduling work, supervising technicians and ensuring methods are appropriate and risks assessed and suitably controlled * Ensuring compliance with all legislative, industry and site regulations * Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and company policy/procedures/work instructions * Prepare and execute an effective preventive and corrective maintenance programme fully utilising the CMMS * Ensure condition monitoring programmes are executed and reported to support equipment replacement plans and optimise maintenance frequency periods * Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule to minimise downtime * Ensure adequate internal and external resourcing to deliver maintenance activities * Ensure timeliness of permit requests and outage requests subm…
