Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician with an Electrical Bias to join their maintenance team. Hours of work would be Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8.00am-4.00pm.
Duties:
- Planned and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery & equipment within the manufacturing facility
- Reactive maintenance
- Identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvements
- Troubleshooting and repair skills with a strong Electrical bias
- Carry out other support maintenance work when required
- Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe
- Work closely with production when investigating failures
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements in line with company procedures
Requirements:
- Served recognised Electrical or Multi Skilled Apprenticeship
- 5 years minimum experience ideally within a Manufacturing environment
- Basic Mechanical skills/knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Commitment to Health and Safety procedures
- Must be willing to be On Call 1 in every 3 weeks (an additional payment will be applicable)
