The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician. You will be responsible for updating service and repair records, maintaining machinery and running diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Hours of work would be working a continental shift pattern, 4 days on, 4 days off. Role Summary: * Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. * Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental policies. * Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs. * Using root cause analysis to eliminate faults/breakdowns. * Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies. * Developing and using SOPs’ to carry out training for co-workers on the safe and efficient use of * electrical machinery and equipment. * Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations. * Installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment to meet production demands Essential Experience: * HNC in Electrical Engineering * Time served with a minimum of two years’ experience as an electrical technician in a related * Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. * Be able to work own initiative and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the Company * Behaves in a professional manner * Good communicator who is open and honest * Focused on continuous improvement with a safety mindset * Excellent communication, IT and Collaboration skills. * Willingness to perform electrical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours. * Experience working with various voltages, AC and DC. * Able to read electrical diagrams and drawings Due to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts unfortunately we are not always able to provide individual feedback.
